What is AOP exactly?
SpAOP isn’t just a replacement, it’s an upgrade to a higher standard of water care. AOP, or Advanced Oxidation Process, is a combination of UV-C light and oxidation technologies that create hydroxyl radicals. These radicals break down bacteria, viruses, and other harmful microorganisms as well as other organic and inorganic contaminations. This process is fast and highly efficient, making it perfect for spas and hot tubs. Our direct AOP does not need ozone to create radicals, so we bypass any negative by-products found with traditional solutions altogether.
